Default water quality

alright guys here is the age old question how do i reduce algae in my reef tank i don't have an ro system, water quality tests good, i perform water changes on a regular basis and i am using rowa phos in a reactor and carbon in the sump. is calgary water really that bad? or do i have a nitrate /phos issue the tank is lightly stocked and is mostly coral. i have to clean the glass every 2-3 days the tank is a rsm130d, any ideas would be welcome!
