Default Ati sunpower vs 150w hqi

Ok in the left corner ati sunpower 6 x 24w = 144 watts of pure power
in the right corner 150 w hqi w\ nanotuner's electronic ballast + 2 x 18w pc actinics = 186 watts of power.

And in the middle there's no room to use your computer... LOL

Not that I would even look at the monitor if that was on each side of me

Assuming that you're asking for an opinion as to which light to use, I vote for the T5's. Way less heat coming off of them, and they'll grow pretty much anything you want. I had hallides on my last tank (mind you I had 800 watts on Mogul) and the heat coming off of them was enough to heat up the entire room... as well as cook my tank one hot summer weekend. If you don't mind buying a chiller, go for the HQI. I personally am going for the 6x39 Aquatic Life T5HO on a 55.
