			 Hi guys,

I've started to see some green buble algae on some of my life rock...they look like bubble gum baloon..Is it something that we want in a reef or not??? If not...what is the way to remove it...is their a type of fish or invertebrate that will eat it??? Thank you Marco |

My emerald crabs easily took care of bubble algae within a couple of weeks.

I took the pieces of liverock out of the tank and scraped the bubble algae off with a knife. I haven't seen it back since.

Bubble alage = a bad reef time. It is not a good alage to have in your tank and can spread very fast. When removing it be careful not to break the bubbles. I would try the emerald.
