![]() The following is a list of my corals. I have been feeding them primarily Coral Frenzy twice a week and target feed brine shrimp to the LPS corals. Should the feeding take place late in the evening when lights still on, or should all the feeding be done when the lights are out as I notice that the feeders are out shortly after the lights go out for the eve. Thanks!

![]() I usually plan my target feeding when my SPS polyps are extended. I find that my LPS will extend thier tentacles to feed no matter what time of day. Whenever they sense a change in flow they immediately get ready to feed. My SPS extend thier polyps during the evening while the halides are still on so I feed them at that time.

![]() always do it an hour after lights are out. SPS that is, lps i never had an issue with feeding them with the lights on
if you want to try a new method i am not feeding after lights are off for an hour. I will than put from oyster feast in the tank to trigger the corals into feeding mode and than feed roti-feast. I tried coral frenzy and didn't have the best results. Still early to tell the difference with this method but from others experiences it works great |
