Default LF T5 fixture 8 or 10 bulb

i know its a long shot but just have to try.
im looking for a 48in- 8 or 10 bulb T5 fixture
let me know if you have one.

Only ones I know of that I have seen are the ATI powermodules and sunpowers for that length.

I have a Sunlight Supply Sunblaze. It is not as advanced as the Tek and you have to rig up your own splash shield (cost me about $45 in parts and acrylic) but it is almost half the price of the Tek.

I have the 4' 8 bulb Tek system over my 120 gal.
Shopped them out like crazy after trying to pick a used one up on Canreef.
J&L offered the best price for the tek system. They do go on sale every once in a while, if you're not in a hurry.

thanks guys
yes i have been looking at the tek mainly. cant beat the price of the sunblaze but i still want to have a dusk and dawn effect and im not sure if that is possible with the sunblaze.

thanks for the info so far though.

SLS is releasing a fan cooled version of the Tek. I'd wait until this fixture is released before making up your mind if you're looking for something cheaper than an ATI Sunpower. When the new Tek is released I would go for it over the existing model. However, I'm sure the old model will go on sale shortly after the new model is released.

maybe i will wait and see what comes of the new design, sounds like it shouldnt be to long either. im sure it can only be better.
