Default DIY Kalk Dripper

I am using a 2L bottle w/2 teaspoons of Reefpure Kalkwasser
now the question is how many drips per second should I aim for, and when should I start the drip ? or am i completely doing it wrong ? haha
greatly appreciate some suggestion/advice.

i would go with a drip per sec or a drip every 2 sec that would per perfect. i take it that your tank isnt that big.

Well...the real answer to your question is that you only want to add enough to maintain your Ca/Alk levels.

If you find that you need to put that entire 2L into the tank every day just to maintain levels, then your answer is to add it slowly enough that it takes 24 hours to drip completely in...which would be 83ml/hr.

But if your tank uses less Ca/Alk, then you might need to put that 2L in over 2 days or more.

If you aren't measuring Ca/Alk, then STOP!!! Don't start adding Kalk unless you know what your Ca/Alk levels are and that you need to supplement.
