Default moving across town.. how?

Anyone have some experience moving a tank? Im moving across the city, and have a fairly young 30Gal tank. stock is 1 muchroom, 1 frogspawn baby, 1 zoanthid frag, 4 snails, a peppermint shrimp and a hermit.. whats the process for moving a tank? any big errors to avoid? any comments or tips would be appreciated.

a tank that size will be fairly east to move.. I moved by 38gal tank twice in 3 months last year.

Get your self a few buckets, or some rubbermaid containers. Have fresh water mixed a the new site. Remove rock, fish, 95% of the water, use old water to cover the rock in the buckets. Move tank, re-aquascape, refill tank partially with old water, then fill with new water to top of (25-50% new)

This is also a good time to do a partial sand change if needed as well...

You will also need a helper or 2 as well.
