Can anyone I.D these small brown polyps for me ![]() They have just come out on the base of a new coral.. I thought Majano Anemone at first but now not so sure? Maybe some type of Octocoral? Any ideas? Regards, Simon... Attachment 4892 Attachment 4893

Thanks.. Will keep an eye on them ![]() Not 100% if they are Briareum as they do not have an encrusting matt? Also they appear to be more solitary polyps rather than colonial... They do resemble Briareum.sp though, so will keep an open mind until they are a little larger! Thanks Again... Simon

![]() The encrusting mat can be almost thread-like and clear on some species, and especially when just a few polyps. You could be right though...tough to nail it down until they establish a bit better.
