A BIG thank you to bulletsworld or Leeanne!!!
I just wanted to make a big public thank you to Leeanne. She is coming here for the long weekend to take care of the fish and house sit. She did this as a last minute thing and saved my butt for this long weekend. I would not have been able to leave the tank and go away if it had not been for her!!! Now she has to drive from Calgary all the way out here, and she does not know the area well. I left a book of hiking trails for her, but if you guys want to add to this thread, please do so. I want her to enjoy her stay in Bragg Creek, and use our house as a vacation home.
YOU ROCK LEEANNE and THANK YOU!!!

HAHAAA!!! Jokes on you!!! I just finished a master cleanse so there is very little to eat in the house. I have been working so much these days I had no time for groceries. There is tofu, apples and grapefruit if you wanna throw a party with those.
Thanks for the well wishes, I wanted to alost stay home since summer finally started here, but Frank wants to move to Kelowna and I am hoping he changes his mind. It is supposed to rain there, so I'll see what their rain is compared to ours'. Still have not left so we will hit Kelowna at about 3am at this rate now. I have met some of the most fantastic people on Canreef, and I am so glad I joined these forums. I was sweating until Leeanne stepped up to the plate to watch the fish. I might have had to have had the neighbor's daughter come and I don't know if I could have done that. It is always so awesome to leave the tank in knowledgeable hands and I learned a lot from Leeanne!!! She is adopting Griffie when her new tank is cycled as well... she already has one Unicorn tang staying with me and is adding a banner fish to stay here until her tnak is ready. Griffie is downstairs with the Unicorn and they get along. Quote:

Hey Diana,
No thank you needed. It was a pleasure and the pleasure was all mine. Your tank was a pleasure to watch. Norman (HUGE Longhorn Cowfish) was the star of the show, second to Banana Man (Banana Wrasse) doing his dance. Although the Achilles was a close second. I think third place goes to your HUGE hermit crab that was arguing with your green brittle star in the corner one night. I had a good laugh as your crab walked over & the brittle star wouldn't let him pass. The green brittle star would throw his arms over in the way, as if he was saying, "You CAN NOT pass through this way" and the Hermit crab would grab his arm and toss it back at him, as if to say, "I SURE CAN & I WILL!!!". This went on for about 10 mins. Neither would give up and the crab was determined to go that way. I had a good laugh as I watched the argument. The green brittle star eventually gave up, BUT then the hermit crab met his match when he couldn't fit past the rock & the tank glass!!! LOL What a determined hermit crab! LOL In the basement tank the unicorn tang is back on her feet. Thank you again for housing her for me. *SUPERHUGS* and Griffie the HUGE porcupine puffer is the star of that show. When Derek seen Griffie, he couldn't stop saying, "He's SOOOOO HUGE!!!!!!, I can't believe how HUGE HE IS!" LOL You have a beautiful reef, with a wonderful array of different creatures that all get along beautifully. Which most people would never be able to do. I'm proud of you for not letting people tell you what to do and experiencing it for yourself. Your an inspiration. Your setup keeps it all possible and what a great setup it is. I love the MONSTER skimmer! Frank did an amazing job! Derek was taking notes on the setup, plumbing & water top up. AND... geesh it was so hard taking care of your home...lol... cause your home is so beautiful & truly a dreamy place to live! We played hide and seek with the dogs! Not to mention the beautiful mountain back drop you have, the deer & her fawns in your back yard with the wilderness surrounding you, fresh air and hiking all around. Elbow falls was an amazing hike. I loved the old west style stripe stores in the town too. We enjoyed the pub food. Its truly beautiful out there in Bragg Creek! Thank you for introducing us to a new world and giving us a beautiful weekend getaway from the city life. *superhugs* So if you ever need a tank sitter... PICK ME! PICK ME! I'm your woman!! Under one condition though... you gotta leave your beautiful dogs behind too. All kidding aside... Your truly welcome. Although the pleasure was all mine. Thank YOU for a weekend getaway.

You want the hermit crab? He's yours!!! Thank you so much fir the soaps and the beautiful pin! I also wanted to hug you since the house was so clean. We got home late last night and it was wonderful to have the house so nice.
My dogs felt clearly violated since they knew they had dog guests. They spent last night and this morning checking their inventory! Just how big is the hitch hiker crab? I saw a tiny shell from a molt a long time back and hoped the Bananaman killed him by now. We want to have you over for dinner or take you out. I think we need to meet Derrek. I am sitting in court right now for a dog ticket, can you believe it? If you don't pay them you have warrant issued for your arrest. Sitting here waiting to have the warrant pulled so I can pay the fine BORING!!! Wish I was still in Kelowna!!! The fish looked awesome and thanks so much for the notes. I want you to buy my house please it will be on the market soon. Now that you know where I live you have o excuse to not hang out. We need to do lunch or dinner and I'll come your way this time. Glad you pups loved playing with you guys out there. Mine were so happy to be home and I feel awful we will be selling the house. Them and my fish are making this so hard to do. However, at least the dogs will be coming with us. The fish will not  Wow this takes a long time to type this on my phone. Email me your msn and can message later. You know how the phones are  thanks so much!!! Thank Derrek for us too. It was so great to leave and not worry about a single thing for even one second. I just saw this post now... I am not all fancy like you and can reply in separated blocks like you
 I was so glad the house was spotless when I cam home so tired from all the driving. I was not expecting it, since I told you not to bother. I love little notes, so never feel ashamed about it... I am a nerd like you are. Yes the hosue is huge and I never wanted it... I knew what I was up against with the cleaning and paying for the thing. I appreciate you enjoying the hosue and Bragg Creek. We spend so much time working to pay for this house, we forgot why we moved here in the first place. It is nice to see someone else see it for what we saw in it when we bought it. Fergus was in a ****ingf match upstairs... I think Chai managed to get some marking by without you noticing. I was expecting it, so no big deal. You know I have Karma and she is not quite house trained yet. I don't give a darned about the carpets upstairs since they need to be ripped out, or I will have to shampoo them again. You make my house sound all fancy. The floors are not marble, they are porcelain, and a huge pain in the arse to clean. I hate them. I am not ungrateful for this house, but it has always been too much and I always saw this whole thing coming... I don't want to move from here, but just cleaning my floors makes me want to get the heck out of here. I love my fish and don't want to shut my tank down!!! I will go day by day and see what happens. If the worst for me happens I am hoping you would take Norman as well... I just don;t even want to think about all of this. The crab has red eyes? Well now I am sitting here with my back to the tank and don't know if that is safe. I have been looking and looking for this crab... never seen him yet... Sort of glad I have not, sounds ugly. I can bet Bananaman wants him badly. I have seen the tank at night but only see a ton of shrimp all over the place... never saw a crab. I have seen the moltings from it, but never saw the crab. We do need to all get together some time soon. I can understand why Derrek would feel odd being here... it will be weird when we meet him, and he knows our house as a resident, not a guest, LOL! I can understand you wishing you had a million bucks to pay for this place... I wish I did too. I am not going to think about moving away just yet. If it happens, I will be giving the fish away to the homes I feel are fit. I don't care about recovering my money. I do love my fish so much.  We are hoping whomever buys the house wants the tank, but I worry about my fish more then you can imagine.I might have to hold you to helping me move this tank some how... I don't want to give it up as well as my fish. I busted my arse getting this thing together and getting all my fish that most people don't have luck with. I know my tank is not perfect by far, but my fish are awesome, and I quickly forget about the tank when I see my fish all being themselves together. We need to figure out how to get together for lunch or something... I have to go by Golds for an RO?DI unti sooner or later... they are close to your work. I still am so glad you came to stay here. I can't wait for you to pick up Griffie and Jupiter so I can visit with you again. You are the best!!!
