![]() I am getting a mix idea of where to place my bubble coral.
This article suggests high lightning http://saltaquarium.about.com/gi/dyn...LPS_Corals.htm but this one http://animal-world.com/encyclo/reef...ony/bubble.php suggests low, medium light :-( Where do i put it in my tank? I have HQI light (3 MH and 3 PC) Anyone the best and most accurate site for coral care? Thanks ________ Alaska Medical Marijuana Dispensary Last edited by Coleus; 04-30-2011 at 05:05 AM. |

![]() Personal experience (and I think general consensus) is low/med lighting and low/med flow like most LPS.
Without using watts/PAR #s/lumens etc. it's hard to judge with qualitative description exactly what "high" or "bright" really means (like what I've just done ![]() Last edited by fkshiu; 09-09-2009 at 05:43 PM. |

![]() Mine prefers med lighting - mid tank but I have T5s and quite low flow. Mine has quadrupled in size since I got it and be sure to feed it!

![]() Try a spot that you think might work for it and if it doesnt inflate the way you think it should after a couple days try another spot with less flow or light. Or you could post a picture of your tank and maybe someone will be able to point out a good spot for you.
