Default New Tank...Finally!!!

Ahhhh! Long haul yesterday but its up and running. Big thanks to Brad for the overflow box and sump and my Dad for the excellent hood craftsmanship and electricals (as well as hoisting the darned thing on the stand, talk about brain aneurysm ).

Now I need to go shopping for more fish!!

What happened to the top half of the sump....

Looks fantastic Christy ! Get ready for packing back some frags...hopefully us Calgary folk can help out there. If you need any tips on not dropping to the floor, frantically pulling out bags of water, to search for your wallet and looking up to find security guards all around you...just let me know..

Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with it.

Ya ya, I know its a weiner sump but hey, it gets the job done and well you see the hole we had to make in the stand (times two). I wanted to be able to get the skimmer in and out with (relative) ease and mess around in there if needed without having to lose 50lbs to get skinny arms to fit in there As it is I need longer arms. Dang that thing is tall. And yes Alan, it is definitely taller than me. All in all I have about 2-3 inches of clearance between the hood and that ceiling support in the picture.

Security guards eh?? Was your purse dripping??

Christy
