Default Wrasses, Hawkfish and Bristleworms

I have a yellow coris wrasse and a spotted hawkfish in our 42 gal hex. Found a huge bristleworm in our horse tank this morning and managed to remove it with tweezers. Put the BW in the 42 and as soon as I did, both the wrasse and hawkfish were right there as if to eat it. Pushed the fish away, and got the BW under a rock.

I never see BWs in the 42 gal but see them in all my other reefs. Do wrasses and/or hawkfish eat BWs?

TIA.
