![]() Hey all,
It's 1 week since i set up the new tank, I tested ammonia and nitrite every day never to really see an increase in either. I tested today for nitrate and noticed it was at ~5ppm. Can a tank with adequate LR cycle this fast? I have set up a few tanks before but never properly ![]() the tank is 50gal, with 33gal sump (only about half full) with ~80 pounds of LR. Seems a little quick to cycle to me.... |

![]() I was amazed at my cycle. I expected a rise in NH3, NO3, NO2 after I added my Kanai rock, but nothing happened at all. Even three weeks after, everything is still optimally low... I guess it's just one of those things, maybe due to the speed of shipping or something.

![]() My cycle lasted about 3 days.
Oh and today (June 20th) is my reef's 2 year anniversary. Just a little tidbit of useless info ![]() ![]()
