Most are fine but can multiply quickly if there's enough food around.

If you're worried just get it out of there.

I've had them multiplying in my two systems for the last two years. So far so good... no problems yet. If they do become a problem I get to buy a harlequin shrimp.

I have lots as well and have yet to have a problem with any of them.... There may be some (rare) types that eat healthy coral but I really think that fact is exaggerated by people who see them passing over, or scavenging off of allready dead/dying coral.

I have a few here and there. In some people's tanks they get to plague populations, but that's usually because their tanks are dirty.
