![]() You would need a surface skimmer if you dont have an overflow system setup. Im guessing you have a HOB skimmer, you can probably get a surface skimmer attachment to go with it to get rid of the oily film

![]() If you have a power head in the tank you can aim it up so that it agitates the surface. This sometimes helps.
