Default Design and functionality of aquarium 'cabinetry'

This seems to be the most active forum, so I will ask this here. Looking ahead (way ahead...), I am wanting to build an asthetically pleasing, yet functional outer shell for my aquarium set-up. This is in a library/sitting type room and so wanting something that will fit that mode. Thinking of a darker cherry wood for material. So, I am just looking for some ideas from some of you aspiring carpenter's out there that may have designed your own work. Wanting it to not only look great, but also allow easy access to sump et al, and provide a bit of a sound-deadener for the skimmer and pump, etc.

Anyway, appreciate any pics or links

check this RC thread. Have also seen were wood panels attach with magnets to metal frame where one can easily take then all off for access. Might also consider kitchen cabinetry such as Parker.

Here's mine... something tells me it won't quite be the same on a tank your size

Here's some pictures of the build plus the finished product:

I'll also be building a canopy to match the rest of the unit.
