which are the top 5 shops in edmonton to shop for SPS and corals?

well ...

big als is overpriced
aquarium enthusiasts has really gone down hill since they changed management.
aqua giant .. well not much there
so I guess that leaves aquarium illusions which isnt bad...

Yeah, I agree, Illusions is probably it. There's Blue World too but not for sps.

Pretty sad, times are tough. Your best bet is to find out what the Canreef members have in there tanks. Or post what you are looking for in the Canreef boards.

ya honestly price wise.. if you're looking for something ask around on the board first. There are a few people who have some awesome stuff at better prices!

I completely agree. I know of one canreef member here in Edmonton who will most likely have a few nice sps frags, contact Karen Marlin. She also has an album in her user profile with some of the frags she had recently.

I've got some coral from Karen. She has a nice selection and much cheaper than stores.

I forgot to mention Little Oceans. I haven't been there since the managment change but I know they had coral.

I have a few pieces too, very nice stuff!! Will get more from her in the future once I decide if I'm going to set up a solana and sell my 90g.
