Hey guys,
I had my new lavender mushroom in my tank yesterday and it was looking fine. I come in today and noticed them being shriveled up and their mouths are sticking out. Is this common with them from sitting there overnight? I fed them a blend of mysis shrimp, algea and flake food ( super broken down to a pulp ). Should I just get myself some phytoplankton/zooplankton or is this enough? I had those shrooms for a number of years and I have never fed them. They seem to shrivel up or get smaller when the lights go down. I would'nt be too worried about it. I think they are too hardy as I'm trying to nuke them out of my tank. Not so easy to do.

i have these same hairy mushies and they shrivel occasionally like any other mushie i have. they should be fine. i have even had a few go white only to come back strong with no effort on my part. also i have never spot fed them.
I just got my first bottle of rotos, but i have been using cyclopeze and daphnia, and they seemed to do the job.
