![]() I bought a plating monti from LFS a few weeks back, and there were a few brownish stick polyps (I think) attached to it. The piece is in really good shape, has grown, is doing well, and so are the stick polyps. Just reading in one of my books that stick polyps are semi-aggressive and can sting other corals. Should I be removing them from my coral? They are also attaching themselves to the rockwork, which of course is by a couple other pieces of sps. Will they do damage to these pieces? I'm not attached to the stick polyps, they were just a hitchhiker, but now I worry about my other corals. Any thoughts? Can't get a pic at the moment, hubby seems to have the camera. (plus I can never figure out how to put pics in here -LOL). Thanks.
