![]() I have/had some nice new orange and green Zoas with about 12 heads purchased on Saturday. I am now down to about 6 heads.
![]() Possible suspects: coral banded shrimp, emerald crab, various hermit crabs.. The CBS was hanging around that area, but never saw him take a swipe at it. Anyone have any negative experiences with these inverts and zoas? I have heard of CBS as suspects, but never any proof..

![]() What do you have for fish, I had a Fox Face, Red Coris Wrasse, and the usual pygmy angels attack my zoas in the past. As for emerald crabs and hermit crabs I've got a bunch of them and never had a problem with them.

![]() Do you happen to have a peppermint shrimp? mine ate about 10 zoas off a rock i had. i caught the little bugger one night.I feed him with a turkey baster now and make sure he gets lots of food. He's a good boy now, no more zoas for him.

![]() I do have a Fox Face and a Orange Spotted Goby for fish, no Pepermint Shrimp yet.
Will check out the possible aiptasia and nudi angles. Thanks for the feedback. I will keep you posted.

![]() Ok I am now down to 3 heads and was unsuccessful in catching the culprit(s) last night. The remaining victims will live in the sump for now...
That sure was some expensive food for someone.

![]() you could also try a fine mess around the Zoa's rock until it grows again if you can't get the possible culprits out. If it is the Fox Face I've heard if you feed them a bunch then they will leave the zoas alone, but then you may end up with algae probs due to all the excess food. In the end I ended up getting rid of my fox face.

![]() Well...I think I would have noticed a worm that U-G-L-Y! Will keep an eye out for it though.
Hmm, it does sound like the most likely suspect at this point is the Fox Face..
