![]() hi all,
Could anyone point me to a good source of "very" flexible vinyl tubing in the Vancouver area? I'm looking for 1", 3/4" and 5/8" ID tubing for drains and returns ... the tubing at Home Depot / Rona is really, really rigid compared to some of the stuff I've seen, and I haven't been able to find any 5/8" ID. thanks |

![]() If you heat up the tubing for HD/rona, it becomes very flexible and easy to work with. To do this, you can soak it in a tub of hot water.

![]() The really flexible tube can collapse and stop your water I would get the braided stuff if I was you. Not sure where you are using it but something to think about.

![]() And just to make the tubing slide onto your fittings really easy cover the fittings in glycerine (available at drug stores). Water will instantly dissolve the glycerine which will not affect your water params.

![]() I found some very good flexable tubing at Greenline Hose and Fitting. It is reinforced and cannot collapse. I don't have the catalog handy with part numbers but you can ask at any Lordco in the lower mainland to see a catalog because Greenline is there supplier.
