Is it just me or do you some of you guys have to top up almost 1-1.5 gallons of fresh water a day?Just seems a bit wierd that it so much.

I'm topping up about 5.5gal every 3 - 4 days... How about this heat? That, or we both have leaks

its the heat I was same way last year then now i have a/c and 3 gals every 7 days or so

10 gallon ATO lasts me about 4-5 days. WhenI had my 155g, I went thru about 4g per day.

I am adding more than that (about 4 to 5 gallons every 2 days). I have a 180 gallon tank with a 60 gallon sump. The tank does not have anything covering it. My last tank had glass over the top and I didn't have to top it up near as often. I did end up getting a de-humidifier in my basement as I was starting to have mold issues and that made a huge difference. I guess when you think about it 4 to 5 gallons of water ending up in your house every couple of days probably isn't good.
