Default Koralia Repair?

I have two different Koralia 4's that have stopped working on me. Any advice on how to get them turning again?

YOu know i have problems with mine all the time. But i found if you put them in the tank and plug them in and then have a feeding stick or something and just poke the impeller they start again.Happens everytime i turn them off for more than a couple minutes or clean them.

Hope that helps

I put a piece of tubing to cover the shaft. This prevents the impeller from sliding forward and not engaging

I've pulled them out of the tank and scrubbed them down and soaked them in vinegar to remove any calcium depositis but with no luck.

if you stick your finger inside the guard and push the impellar inward (before plugging in!), this has seemed to work for me whenever they won't turn.

Did they quit working after you unplugged them, or while they were plugged in/already running?

Just stops running constantly, even after being cleaned, plugged back in and out repeatedly.

i have a 1 and a nano they are both working fine. this has happened to me on the 1. real pain in the butt as its behind my rock wall. i dip and plug in then poke the impeller aswell. also take out the impeller i have found the shaft may get coroded and i flip it around. as all pices are removable.

I gave up on my two defunct units. I cleaned and played and fiddled and cleaned and fiddled some more and I just cannot get them turning. They are about a year old.

The 2 Koralia 3's I have around the same age are still working fine. You get what you pay for I guess.
