![]() Hey guys. Was wondering if anybody knows where I can buy a water tank? Im constantly making RO DI in 5 gallon buckets and I'm done doing that. I've seen people with 45 to 150 gallon storage tanks. Where can I buy one in the lower mainland area? Thanks guys

![]() This is what I've been using for over a year for my RO
I had to use hot water to wash out the sugar residue, but it's a great barrel and I like the removable lid for ease of access I have been leaving the ring in storage and just use the lid for a dust cover |

![]() I should have added ...
These drums are easy to drill. I installed my RO line and 2 uniseals. One for an overflow and one for a drain valve Since this pic was taken I, as stated before, have put the ring in storage I like to flip the lid open to check the level ![]() |

![]() Go big or go home. these are usually 48x40x48 high. takes up some real estate but you make one bactch of ro and never have to worry about for the rest of the year.

![]() I use a 50 gallon garbage can with wheels and a hinged lid. Whoever designed it must have known what aquarium owners would want because there's a recess in the bottom of the can that my pump fits in which allows me to pump almost every drop out. By the time the pump begins to complain there's only a liter or two of water left.
I used a graduated 5 gallon pail to mark the 25g and 50g points so my measurements should always be pretty close. I also thought about tapping a drain on to it but submersing the pump is more convenient at the moment. |
