Lightbulb 29G Biocube setup

I need some advice from you guys, currently I have my biocube for FWLR but I have decided that I am going for reef, I will take all my fishes back to the store tomorrow. currently the setup has a hang-on cpr2 refugium with skimmer and it also has a 9Watt coralife UV sterilizer and with bioballs in the second chamber. so here are my questions; for reef do I really need the bioballs; do I still need my cpr refugium-skimmer or the UV sterilizer?
how deep of a sandbed should I have currently 2 inches (planning to keep a blue-spoted Jawfish)
I am having a issue with the heat right now because of the 3 pumps that is in there now, its reaches up to 85F when the light is on. Can you guys tell me what I should do to run reef on my 29 gallon biocube e.i. do I have to upgrade my lighting? and how?
Thanks in advance!!!!

bioballs out. you can still use your cpr fuge and skimmer and the uv steilizer although many people go without the sterilizer thats your call.
Ive seen peope keep jawfish in a smaller substrate but i will let the experts chime in here.
Is it stock lighting? The type of lighting you get will depend on the type of corals you want to keep.
Check out the other BC29 journal/threads on here. They are full of info and are really cool.

I'm new to this also but from what I have read be sure your lights are installed correctly and your fans are as well . I have read of more than one person having this wrong out of the box.
Mine maintains 79-82 degrees even on the hottest days so far

Default plan changed

Okay, everything is out and its plumbed to my 90G reef 20G sump because I think its more convinience e.i. water parameter will be the same as my main so I dont have to worry about it. The problem is that I have not decided what to with it yet. I want something totally different from my main tank(mixed reef) so I was thinking to keep somthing that I cant keep on my main tank(not fish, no rocks)maybe some invert with some softy e.i. seahorse, pipefish & shrimps. any opinion?

actually there are a pair of sexy shrimp, blueline pipefish(eating) toadstool mushroom and a really nice sun flower coral, I might get my watchman shrimp goby from the main tank if I can catch him and also have some rocks(might take them out) should I?

inverts that I am planning to get in the future:
seahorse(pair)
anenome shrimp
Halerquin shrimp
pistol shrimp

what do you guys think about this setup? do you guys think I am overstocking my tank? opinion please.
