![]() I am looking for a way to use a 250 watt MH as a spotlight. I wanted to just simply use the housing and reflector from a regular outdoor spotlight sold at places like Home Depot for outdoor use but they are not long enough...the bulb sticks out about 6". LOL. The 250 watt bulbs are ridiculously long! I think close to a foot if I remember right (although that may be with the socket).
Any ideas? It doesn't have to be an actual reflector and I prefer something industrial looking. Im trying to think of stuff I could find at Home depot that is the right shape for a spotlight but Im coming up with nothing... ![]() |

![]() check with a electrical supplier and get a "high bay" reflector, thoese are the ones in most commercial buildings, they are usually cheap around 30-40$.

![]() albright lighting carries them. i think they have a vancouver office, and one in victoria. I have done business with them before through work.
