Default Help on Metal halides upgrades

I am about to buy the bulb for my mh so I dont know if I should go with 14k or 20k, what is the differences and their spec?

Go with 14000k. You get the nice white/blue light while the 20000k is too blue and very low PAR.

I used Phoenix and Aquaconnects. The 14500k Geisemanns are also supposed to have a nice colour.

Both the Phoenix & AC have a very long lifespan, and mine are currently 16-17 months old & still going strong.
