It was suggested to me that I use Black Chloroplast (purchased from Rona for $18.00) and silicone it to the back instead of painting.

I'll be trying it this weekend.

I used "Kitchen and Bath" paint by Mills Paints. It's the same stuff I used for my stand, so it's semi-gloss.

Chloropast works and looks good, but I wouldn't silicone it on. You will need to remove it to clean it..eventually you will get salt creep in behind it.. :-)

Any suggestions for painting the back of a refugium where the back will be inside a sump so teh paint would be in salt water?

Would this be the new tank or the old tank?
