![]() With my RODI unit I am having flow problems. I have good water pressure going into the unit. I have very pour flow out to the extent that I can run the unit for 24 hours and get a whole 2 1/2 gallons of clean water. I have replaced all the filters and ro membrane. I believe they have all been placed in correctly. When I first got the unit I could make 20 gallons in about 6 to 8 hours. I have taken the whole unit apart to see if there were any blocked lines and found none. I have the Aquasafe Maximus 100 gpd unit.
Thanks ,Chris |

![]() Not that I'm aware of. I have put the PSI gauge to the input and have 40 plus PSI comming off the tap but it is about 10 PSI after going through all the prefilters. It pretty much trikling out of the RO membrane. So I would imaginre that it would be something in the prefilter section. Took it all apart this morning to see if I could find a blockage but didn't notice anything.

![]() Normal house pressure should be 60 psi. after the PRV. Not sure what your street pressure is but it should be more than 40 . What's your pressure in the rest of your place, ie. outside hose bib [ tap ] Do you have a high pressure hose bib that comes off before your PRV if so what is the pressure there.

![]() I am in a appartment and I don't have a outside hose bib. I couldn't get an accurate reading with the PSI meter because the fitting leaked to much. I could read 40 PSI but there was water spraying everywhere. I assume it would be higher if I could get a good seal.

![]() Maybe some DI beads got into somewhere. I assume you have back flushed the system. If you used a needle valve on the supply some sediment or rust could have gotten in there. You may have to take all the lines apart and flush each one out seperate.

![]() I took apart the unit this morning. I cleaned out all the beads made sure all lines were unblocked. I started the unit earlier about 7-8 hours ago and am at about 2 gallons. I also emailed Aquasafe and am waiting to see what they say.
Thanks, Chris |

![]() try remving all the pre filters, the membrane, and Di . Then see if water passes freely through the system. If so, start adding filters , starting at prefilter until you find the problem.

![]() Didn't think of that good idea. I will try that tomorrow when I get off work.

![]() My guess is the carbon filter is put in upside down. A common mistake. It looks like it should go in that way, but looks can be deceiving.
I have made that mistake before. ![]()
