![]() I'm going to be upgrading my tank soon, and am wondering if there's going to be any issue in moving the sand bed.
The main tank (37g) has a 2" sandbed and the sump(10g) has a 4" bed. Both the tank and the are being upgraded. Thanks

![]() When we moved our tank we just really cleaned the sand. Take it to the bathtub and clean it untill the water runs clear. When you move the beds you release pockets of ammonia,etc.... So you don't want that all inyour tank.
Just wash it good and you will be fine. P.S> We kept about 2 cups of sand that we didn't clean as to seed the new clean bed. |
