WTB: 1 inch bulkhead wrench

If anyone knows where i can get a bulkhead wrench to fit a 1 inch bulkhead please let me know. Calgary or Red deer area.

me as well, this time it will not fit. The bulkhead wrenches look like they will. Worst case cut out the old one. It was siliconed in and is leaking. I usually always redo bulkheads when purchasing a used tank...but this time...and well..

do u have a bit set up pump plyers? my big pair opens up to about 4 inches...but probably gots 100 dollars more then a bulkhead wrench...

I found an adjustable wrench at Home Depot that would do it.

However, when a bulkhead fitting is leaking it is rarely because it isn't tight enough. Be careful.

In my layout the bulkhead nuts are impossible for a wrench and not even that easy for fingers. As the nuts should only be hand tight, made up some "sockets" for 1" and 2" bulkheads using pieces of aluminum and PVC pipe that would fit over the threaded part of the bulkhead, then milled out for the nut. Added some abrasive tape for grip.

Do have to say worked perfect for hand tightening and if wanted tighter could put a pipe wrench on them or drill holes for a bar.

I found hooking up my herbie that I had to use a combo of a pipe wrench and plyers to get it tight.. what a pain in the butt. Then again I learner that it is not the best idea to install the bulkheads after the tank is on the stand and full of water

yep, was going to check the gasket if needed replace it or bulkhead. Could be a small crack or whatever.

they have a wrench at home depot for 8$ in plumbing section
