![]() i'm curious about a hospital tank, does copper absorb into the silicone only? or is the glass tainted?
i've got some glass from a hospital tank, and i was thinking about using the glass for making a frag tank. |

![]() This is from the horses mouth.....
Kordon CopperTru Chelated Copper Disease Preventative is a precisely formulated copper solution intended primarily for the prevention of external protozoan parasite infestations. All copper treatments absorb into the gravel, rock and glass of the aquarium. After treatment the copper should be removed by using Kordon NovAqua. Can be used in both freshwater and saltwater tanks. In reading a couple of other articles about food contamination they say some glass will but not all. No one answering you made me read some really heavy articles by chemists...way over my head.
