![]() I'm planing on buying a used system this weekend. 70g with 2 electronic ballasted 175w MH and 4 30watt t-12's, 2 powerheads 2 AC 30 filters.
It also comes with 80lbs of live rock. The pieces look quite nice and have lots of life on them,(coraline algea, copeopods) however some of that life is Aiptasia!!! Quite a bit of it. Some small, some large, about 80-100 I'd guess. Rock here costs 10.99 per lb. Should I battle the aiptasia with peppermint shrimp, give it a freshwater bath or one of the other methods I have read about? Should I dry out the rock and start anew, or scrap it altogether and buy new rock piece by piece till I have enough? Starry ![]() |
