Default Lighting?

I'm (sometime) going to start a 20g nano and i have a question about the lighting. would i be able to string a few flourecent lightbulbs or something across the top as an lighting system. What kind of wattage and things do you need for corals because we have a variety of lighbulbs just sitting in our laundry room.

Might want to research a little more into lighting, it's a bit more involved than grabbing some spare bulbs you have in the laundry room (unless that's were you have stock of aquarium supplies).

I have a 70 watt metal halide on a 15g nano. Anything much bigger than 70 watts could cause overheating problems in a 20g nano. What size is your brother's light?

I heard something like 100000K and stuff is that really important. if you look at some light bulbs it has the watt volt and nothing else. Is there something on it telling you the brightness or somehting. thanks.
