![]() this is a question to anyone that has ever used this to control a cyano outbreak- how long did you skimmer go ape on you after the 48 treatment period and 20% water change?

![]() It was about 4 weeks and several water changes before it was back to normal. The skimmer would work for a day or so then go nuts about 2 weeks after treatment. It did clear up my algae problem

![]() my euroreef is on the lowest setting and its just puking out foam and water. not sure what to do as i head out of town this week.

![]() unplug it, your tank will be fine over the weekend
its better then the sludge poring back into the tank when it gets to full. IMO |

![]() i will be gone for a week. would i be able to get by leaving the skimmer off and having the fish fed every 2 days? its a 96 gal with 135 lbs of LR, some LPS corals and 7 fish.

![]() I didn't use a skimmer on my tank for almost 4 months (with many LPS and a solitary SPS). Everything was fine. You should be, too

![]() well, im doing another 20% w/c tonight and will leave the skimmer off for the week with minimal feeding
