![]() Is anyone using a pair of Nanostreams (6055) on either a multi controller (7095) or a Profilux computer?
I am currently using a Seio 2600, but I am finding that it is very very loud, and I would like to have more of a random current, a feeding timer and moon lights. Also for the price I am thinking of going with a profilux computer as it has some other cool functions, any thoughts on this? How quiet are the the Nanostreams? How do they function on the controller? Thanks for your input!

![]() we have a pair of 6055's on the 7095 multi-controller. The pumps run silently, but they do "click" when they pulse. The magnetic mounts are awesome, and so far we are happy with them. I havent taken the time to really mess with the controller much, but it does have alot of options. I'm not familiar with the Profilux so I cant offer you a comparison.

![]() When is it that they click? Is it only on start-up, or do they still click if on a gentle increase and decrease setting?
Anyone using one, or two on a Profliux?

![]() I use tunze 6100 Turbelle and nanostream 6055 on Multi controller .
6055 cliks when fish care (i call it scare) function activates. This click went silent after about five days. I like 6055 alot and thinking about second one. However these are only good for smaller tanks up to 4 foot long by 2 eet wide. Any bigger and you would be better of with 6100 and or 6200 Turbelle's pumps.. ![]() What is the fish care function? It always says that they have fish care function, but never what it actually is.
I am planning on replacing my Seio 2600 with one Tunze 6055 right now (mabye on a profilux system....). I currently have a 75g tank (4' x 18" I believe). But am thinking that I may upgrade to a 105g tank (6' x ? x Shallower then normal), and then adding an additional 6055. I just think that the Seio 2600 is too loud and too big. So that got me looking at the Nanostreams, then at the multi controller, then that got me thinking 'well a profilux isnt that much more then a multi-controller, and I may want a profilux in the future'. And like everyone says, its alot cheaper to do it right the first time.

![]() I have a 6055 being controlled with my profilux. Absolutely love it. The fish care function turns the propeller every so often when the pump is powered off so that you don't have a small fish camp out in there and get caught up when it turns back on.

![]() I don't even notice it. If I put my ear to the glass I can hear the hum change pitch as it changes speed but that's about it. I have mine on a five foot long, 18 inch wide 24 inch deep tank. I wouldn't put it on a bigger tank but it does a five foot shot ok!
