![]() The weirdest part is how the aquarium lights turn on again so fast after the power cuts out, and how the same rocks fall down all over again!
That's scary stuff. I felt a 7.2 ish sized quake about 10 years ago in southern California, luckily it was miles away from anything so I guess it was probably more like 3 or 4 where I felt it. But on the 11th floor of a hotel it was pretty scary! It was about 2am, what actually woke me up was the sound of the water in the toilet bowl sloshing back and forth. I was like, what's with the toilet? Why would the water be splashing in the toilet? Is it backing up? Oh, why is the floor moving? Oh. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Looks like the quake this morning was an 8.2. That's a pretty big quake. ![]() ![]() Edit: I see USGS has upped it to an 8.4. ![]()
