For what it's worth, I recommend the Hydor Koralias over the Nanostreams.

ya i waz seconds away from taking a hydor koralia at a lfs but the owner said that when you put you're hand in front of a koralia you can barely feel the current at all, which really discouaged me because i wanted one badly

I agree. The koralia's are a wide spread flow. I have one in my 50 and it was way too much for my lps so I HAD to set up another for the lps. Other than them being a tad large I love mine.

ok so now i'm at a stand still, i'm gonna have a mixed reef with all three types of corals, so at the lfs i can get a tunze turbelle nanostream 6025(660-gph) for $68, or i can get a hydor koralia-4 (1200 gph) for only $58, so i'm wondering what would suit my needs more for a 33-gallon, a small tunze or a big koralia?

It's all about placement. I went from Nanostream 6025 to a Koralia 3 and have been nothing but happy.

Default Go with Koralia

I have Tunze 6055 nano and 6100 Turbelle ; good pumps and i am very happy with my choice.

However if you have no controller to gavern all flow in your tank then go with Korallia save yourself some $$$.

For those who already have Nanostreams and want more flow you can easy modify them by cutting internal flow deflector tube "OFF".

I did not do it myself yet so i don't know if it works or not, but looks and sounds that it may work. If not this plastic part can be replaced.

it will cost a few more bucks but why don't you get two koralia one's. They are quite abit smaller than the fours.
