![]() I found a black crab with long skinny pincers almost the size of a quarter in my pink mille' colony tonight and he seemed to be munching on it.

![]() No Catherine, this one isn't hairy like those ones. I have had several of those before and they don't do damage the way this one does.

![]() whoah Snappy, I found a similiar crab to the one you are describing here in my reef after I bought some rocks from the phillipines....
Please post a pic when you can becuase I would love to know if the one i saw in mine is the same... K. |

![]() ![]() Not a great picture but you can still get the idea. I'm not sure whether to serve him as fish food or banish it to the sump. Unfortunately he has the claws tucked in under it but the are long and skinny, perfect for nipping at acro polyps. After I caught it he kept turning over and playing dead. LOL

thats him alright, minus the orange hair on his legs... Hmmmmm, how am I going to catch the one in my 30 reef without any hermits or my banded coral shrimp being affected? i have only seen him once at like 3 in the morning after the bar.... |
