Post Skimmer going crazy - dechlorinator

Didi a water change today, first time using Aquaplus water dechlorinator and the protein skimmer is going crazy! Put 2 caps into 10 gallons as directed to remove chlorine and chloramines...Please help!

Dechlorinator has that effect on every skimmer I've ever owned. The only thing I know of to do is to shut the skimmer down for a few hours

switch to prime, you dont need to use so much and has no bad effects on skimmers
