Default Compare TDS results in Calgary

I just installed a R/O unit and tested the results compared to Calgary tap water. Calgary tap water is 182 vs. R/O with the aqua-safe unit is at 12.
Is this about what everyone is getting in Calgary?

For some reason, I would have thought Calgary's TDS level(s) would be lower. Huh! I don't have a TDS meter, so I can't help you out!

Mine is about 178. Your RO should pull out at least 95% so that sounds good. After the DI you should get 0.

Default R/0 TDI readings

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure it was working properly. Thats it for tap water-will use R/O water to top-off and mix salt from now on. Do most of you use it for drinking water as well?

No personally I wouldn't since I don't run it continually and with warm temps I just wonder what grows there till I turn the cold water on.

Ranchlands 155 tap water R/O 1. I use it to fill the 5 gal culligan buckets. My self and family are very happy with the difference even from COOP bought Culligan water.

Default r/o

How long does it take you to fill 5 gall. worth of r/o water? My flow from the aqua-safe filter is quite slow. May have to test the pressure.

For me 2 - 2.5 hrs depending on how much pressure I use.
