Default Crazy Clown

So, I've read over and over about people who can't get their clown to host in their anemone or in anything. Well, mine will--and does--host in anything! Currently it hosts in the toadstool leather, the torch coral and the bubble coral. The toadstool doesn't mind but the torch and the bubble react strongly. Is there anything to do besides remove the fish from my system?

Find something the fish will prefer to have host it, I've never had a clown that didn't host in something and most things didn't like it at all.

I've had clowns hosting in my frogspawn, and the frogspawn has done incredibly well. The frogspawn provided them good protection as well. My hammer didn't like them in it though.

depending on how big your tank is, you could look into getting a BTA. If they're hosting, I would think that a BTA would be a natural choice for a clown.

I have 3 bta & 4 clowns. The 2 bigger clowns "own" all the bta's, while the 2 smaller clowns host in my flower pot all day & the Bubble all night.

Hey--thanks for the replies. I did try a BTA, but the clown harrassed it to death. I think.

I also had a Goniopora that I had to get rid of because this clown was very rough with it!

My torch coral completely closes up when the clown does his thing.

My clown used to host in my torch but switched to my open brain about three months ago. My brain doesn't mind one bit.
