Default FW Planted Puffer Tank

Its been up for about 1 year but constantly adding or changing plants 3 female puffers and 3 ottos actually i think one died about a month ago but i cant find its body... but there have been no crazy ammonia spikes so whatever gotta love freshwater, as much as i love my reef i will always enjoy a heavily planted freshwater.

10gallon
50% water change once or 2x per week
15W light 6700K
13W light desklamp on a few hours a day
Flourish Excel
Some ferts

That's a 10g?? Wow, it lends itself to a much larger looking tank. Nice scale!!

The slate is siliconed inside on the back of the tank, its actually sandstone so its not quite as heavy... any freshwater tanks i set up in the future will definately have this kind of background.

That is by far THE most realistic freshwater tank I've ever seen.

That's crazy realistic! Even the lighting suits a fresh water environment. Nice work!

I was surprised that it was only a 10 gal too! NICE WORK!

I too love the back wall. Very cool. Love all the plants as well. The tank looks great!


I'm always a sucker for lil puffers of all sort, FW or SW. Got any pictures of your little puffers? What kind are they?

nice tank! I too love the background. I may have to steal that idea from you in the future.

one thing though: I refuse to believe that is a 10gal. c'est impossible!
