Default Growth Pics

well I got some Digitata for free and put it in my tank, then I had all the problems with the low Ca, Alk, and Mg levels. sence I have gotten that under controle they have started growing like crazy. here are some befor and after pics that show the growth and the color improvements.. one thing I have also noticed is that they are growing thick also.

this is a small green Digitata



a larger Green Digitata ( a chunk of this one got broke off and is growing else whare)




and a small chunk of Pink Digitata

Dang, you got some nice colours happening there! What is your lighting again (I know I've asked this before, but I don't remember, and I also suspect that the lighting might not be the same as before anyways??)?

LOL, I don't change my lights that often hehe, I have two URI VHO actinics (95watts each) I have two 10000K PC's (96 watts each)and I have one 175 watt 10000K MH. ( Iwill beupgrading my MHtotwo 10000K AB's when I can afford the ballasts :shock: )

Using WH ballasts for the VHO and PC I presume? Any news on the rumours that WH was developing a MH ballast (I don't keep up with things ... for all I know the ballasts have been out to market for some time already?)

Looking at the photos again, I still can't get over how much the colours have improved from your "before" shots. Very impressive.

well I am using a unknowen ballast on the PC's (switching to a WH7) and I am running the VHO in series on a WH7.

I was talking to Fulham last week and there 250 watt electronic ballast will be out this spring.

no, there electronic MH line is called "HIGHHORSE" they have some out now but the 250 watt and 400 watt versions should be out this spring

never heard of the 9, whare did you find this?

I am still waiting for a answer about the difference between a 7 and a 8 LOL

Hehe, well when I called Al-brite to see if they had the 7 in stock, I accidently called it a 9. They said they should have it in stock soon .
