anyone ever use R/O pre and post filters to make a filter for the aquarium?

Thats a good question.....I would just be worried about If a 1 Micron Filter would be to small....IE Get cloged Really quick......I think it would be a good way to run activated carbon!!!

guys on the nano-tank forums have made kalk mixers and calcium reactors that work wonders out of them. but they're for small tanks.
