Default Product and Livestock Highlights for December

Dry Goods

SEIO Controllers - only two in stock ATM (no holds); more to come ASAP. $169.99

NanoSkimmer - Local reviews of this product have been very positive.A definite steal at $29.99 each.

UV Super Actinic HO T5's - THE actinic bulb! $24.99 each. Current stock includes 36" and 48" lengths.

Vortech pumps - very few left. Come by to see one in action. $419.99 each.

AquaConnect 14k MH bulbs - Best PAR, awesome color in a 14K bulb. Will not expire prematurely if run on electronic HQI ballasts, unlike a few bulbs I can name, LOL.

I recently switched over most of the MH bulbs in the store to these and am VERY impressed. Available in DE and SE. Prices range from $99.99 to $154.99.

Coralife/Oceanic Biocubes - We're doing a promotional on these items for this month. PM for pricing.

Aquatinics HO T5 lighting fixtures - these will be arriving at the store shortly. More details as they come.

Livestock

Dendrophyllia - That awesome "Super Sun Polyp" everyone's been talking about. Small (4-8 polyp) colonies will be available shortly. PM for pricing.

I'll post more in the coming days.

- Albert

Hey Albert...any chance you can throw me some pics of the saltwater stock so that we can do a group order from Halifax? We could get an idea of what you have from the pics and then call to confirm...Thanks man!

Kat....see profile for email address.

I'm anticipating them in about two weeks.

For the time being, I'll only be receiving the 6' - 14 bulb fixtures. Pricing should be roughly $800-$900 each.

As far as a comparrison between these and the Tek's, it's hard to give you any kind of a direct pro/con contrast. The Tek's shine in the budget department. They're excellent lights for what they cost. The Aquatinics are more a deluxe item. Fan cooled fixtures with mirro silver reflectors (Tek's use mirro 7) are definitely going to put the stomp the economically-minded Tek's, but at a cost.

I'd compare the two in such a fashion:

Honda Civic vs. Porsche 911

I'm looking to get 2 36" fixtures, would you be able to get these in? looking for 4-5 bulbs each, it's gotta fit on a tank with a footprint of 72"x12"

Once this first run of Aquatinics is in, we're going to evaluate from there as to whether or not we're going to stock the item regularily or on a order basis.

I will check up on the dimensions for you though.
