Default enough light for 90g?

hi, i've got the chance to grab a 90g tank and stand as a freebie but if i do, i don't what to spend more $$ on more lights.
will my one 250w pendant be alright if hung in the middle? would this provide enough for the light demanding corals/clam if they were placed in the middle and the softies off to the sides?

how long is the tank? If you put everything under the middle you will be fine, just limits what you can put on the outsides, but you will be fine

You will end up with a foot of tank at each end that is very dark. Each MH covers roughly a 2' by 2' area. Maybe throw on a fluorescent or something to brighten up those corner sections.

A 90 tall is 48L x 18W x 24H.
A 90 wide is 48L x 24W x 18H.
I'm sure there are others like bowfronts, hexs, whatevers, but those are the two standards.
Is it a Seastar? If so, it'll have a glass centre brace, which will affect a light placed directly over it.

HTH and cheers,
