![]() Just FYI's if anyone thinks like me and likes to keep funky crabs in small tanks...
Boxer crabs and Porcelain crabs don't mix... Figured I'd be safe since the porcelain stays in the merletti, and the boxer's a sand lover... Should be safe right! ![]() Compare the pincers, any guesses who won? Andy |

![]() Are you talking about the White or the Blue Porcelain crabs? I have the White one along with 3 boxers in my 3.5G nano for 6 months so far. The Boxers have eggs regularly.

![]() Strange that they would fight.
I've never had a problem with either of mine. My boxer snapped one night cause my cleaner was cleaning his antennas one night and kept flicking him with it. It was kinda funny really. Snook up behind the cleaner and jumped him. He held on with his back legs and just started giving it to him with his anemones. Scared the crap out of the shrimp, But besides his eyes he's not really vulnerable to the anemones sting. My porcelain (blue variety) on the other hand is a bit of a coward. I watched a asteria come to close to him once and he postured at it a bit, But then turned and ran away from it.
