Default electronic ballast help...

well I got my new electronic ballast yesterday and the first time i plugged it in it fired up right away, now i went to fire it up this morning and it doesnt want to fire up...i can hear that ballast trying to but its just not...any ideas? is the ballast 2 cold or something.?

okay, so i couldnt wait for a reply so I tryed my spare bulb...fired up no problem...is there anyway my bulb could be done after only one day of use????

well back to square one...I unplugged it now to add my timer and it wont fire up any ideas?

The bulb will need to cool before it can be re-fired. Try it again in 5 - 10 minutes or so.

alright, i'll give that a try, another question I have is, does anyones mh hurt there eyes? I kind of wish I had a better reflector or something, because the way its set up it hits the corner of my eyes when i'm sitting in my computer chair....its starting to really bug my eyes...

Any super bright light next to your eyes will hurt after a while

Be warned though, if you have a double ended bulb you need to shield it with a piece of glass as it puts out a ton of UV.

hey run that light evey now and then Harvey as a uv unit lol
