Default lights for my 120g

i'm running 250 wat MH, I want to hook up atinics/flourescents as well. I've got a couple dual 40watt ballasts, should i hook up 2 ballasts and have 4 bulbs? that enough?

Im guessing your 120 is 4 feet wide. A MH bulb covers and area of about 2ftx2ft well. If you are going to use a single MH bulb over 4ft, put it in the middle, and have lower light corals at the ends of the tank, the highest light corals right in the middle.

I would give 4 NO actinics a try, see what it looks like, add more bulbs if you want it more blue looking, because the NO is really just for looks.

A second halide, and 4 foot fluorescents will be just fine on a 5 footer, just leave 6 inches open on the sides, which is good practice for cleaning your tank anyways.

1 ballast with 2 bulbs at 40watts enough for the flourescents?
